Copyright & COPPA Policy

1. Copyright Ownership

All content on RoboBuddy13 is the intellectual property of Cosmic Code Kids, a division of iDreamWithAi, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This includes but is not limited to:

• Textbooks & Educational Content: All 4,305+ books across 500+ subjects, 5 levels, and 50+ languages. Every book follows our proprietary 28-section architecture.
• Animated SVG Illustrations: All animated SVG diagrams, demos, and interactive illustrations embedded in our books and platform.
• Software & Code: The RoboBuddy13 platform, reader, SQL Playground, Python IDE, book generation engine, and all associated source code.
• Branding: The RoboBuddy13 name, logo, “Cosmic Code Kids” name, “iDreamWithAi” name, and all associated visual identity.
• Book Architecture: Our copyrighted 28-section book structure including but not limited to: Mission Briefing, Cosmic Theory, Cosmic Lab, Cosmic Invention, Boss Battle, Matrix13 poetry, and all section formatting.
• Level System: Our 5-level system (Level 1 through Level 5) and the 3-version system (1.0 Cosmic Theory, 2.0 Cosmic Lab, 3.0 Cosmic Invention).
• Audio Content: All text-to-speech narrations, voice performances, and audio files.
• Galactic Kitchen Master: All recipes, culinary content, and STEM-cooking integrations.

2. AI-Generated Content & Copyright

Our books are generated using AI systems directed, curated, compiled, and edited by human authors. Under current US copyright law and the Copyright Office’s guidance on AI-assisted works:

• The selection, arrangement, and creative direction of our content is copyrightable human authorship.
• Our proprietary book architecture, section designs, and editorial curation constitute original creative works.
• Each book represents substantial human creative input in topic selection, prompt engineering, quality review, formatting, and compilation.

3. What You May Do

• Read and learn from our content through our platform.
• Print individual chapters for personal study (not for distribution).
• Share links to our platform with friends, students, or colleagues.
• Quote short excerpts (under 300 words) for reviews, commentary, or academic citation with proper attribution to “RoboBuddy13 by Cosmic Code Kids / iDreamWithAi.”
• Reference our work in academic papers, blog posts, or presentations with citation.

4. What You May NOT Do

• Republish or redistribute our books, chapters, or content on any other platform, website, or service.
• Sell or commercially exploit our content in any form.
• Claim authorship of our content.
• Mass-download, scrape, or crawl our content using automated tools.
• Use our content to train AI models, language models, or any machine learning system.
• Create derivative works based on our books without written permission.
• Remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution from our content.
• Mirror or clone our platform or any portion of it.

5. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same in return.

5.1 Reporting Infringement of Our Content

If you discover our content being used without authorization on another platform, please notify us at legal@idreamwithai.com. Include:

• The URL where infringement is occurring.
• The specific content being infringed.
• Your contact information.

5.2 If You Believe We Infringe Your Rights

If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to:

Your notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
2. Identification of the material on our platform that you claim infringes.
3. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized.
5. A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 10 business days.

7. COPPA Compliance — Children’s Privacy

7.1 What Is COPPA?

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a United States federal law that imposes requirements on websites and online services directed at children under 13, or that knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. It is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

7.2 How Children Can Use RoboBuddy13

• Free Tier (no account): Children of any age may browse our free book library and use the reader without creating an account. No personal information is collected.
• With an account: Children under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage their account. We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from a child under 13.

7.3 Parental Consent Methods

We obtain verifiable parental consent through one or more of the following:

• Signed consent form submitted by email.
• Credit card verification (a small charge, immediately refunded).
• Video call verification with a parent/guardian.
• Government-issued ID verification (viewed and immediately deleted).

7.4 Data We Collect from Children

When parental consent is obtained, we collect only the minimum necessary:

• Username (may be a pseudonym — real name not required).
• Parent’s email address (for account management and notifications).
• Learning progress data (books read, quizzes completed).

We do NOT collect from children:

• Physical address or geolocation.
• Photos, videos, or audio recordings.
• Social media accounts.
• Contact lists or friend data.

7.5 No Behavioral Advertising

We do not serve behavioral advertising to any user, child or adult. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or retargeting on our platform. Ever.

7.6 Parental Rights

Parents and legal guardians have the right to:

• Review all personal information collected from their child.
• Request deletion of their child’s personal information.
• Refuse further collection of their child’s data (which may require closing the child’s account).
• Opt out of any data use beyond what is necessary for the service.

7.7 Data Security for Children

• All children’s data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Access to children’s data is restricted to essential personnel only.
• Children’s data is never shared with third parties for marketing.
• Children’s data is never sold. To anyone. For any reason.

7.8 Safe Harbor

We are working toward participation in an FTC-approved COPPA Safe Harbor program. Until certification is obtained, we self-certify compliance and maintain internal auditing procedures.
